Going on loan means I’m confident Yang was never signed to be anywhere near the first team yet and is probably 2 years off being ready.

I’m not confident Spurs will be signing a forward soon and I’m even less confident that if we do, that forward won’t be a bang average clogger because we don’t have the ambition to financially compete for the best talent on the market.

Levy has proven time and time again, if there is an expensive thoroughbred on the market, we will get the cheaper donkey.

As for Tel, I've rated him ever since he joined Bayern. He would easily slot in our team, especially at the moment.
Unfortunately, the sad reality is that Levy won't break the wage structure unless it's an integral player, such as Kane and even then, the incentives in bonuses are there. Until he goes, there won't be change. That's why we need a proper coach that can utilise the squad as best they can, as we are obviously not a 15th level quality team in the PL.
Either way, I will appreciate what the team has to offer more when we see improvement, hopefully.

That window never happened though, we also signed Hart, Rodon, Vinicius, Reguilon, and Bale that summer.

Debate the quality of that lot all you like, but to say we only signed Doherty and Hojbjerg is wrong.

Their quality must be why I erased them out of my mind. I forgot Bale was loaned in that window though, I wish he made more of an impact but he did well considering the circumstances.
 
Another day of club-driven drivel as we move betwixt players that don't want to come to us, players who aren't good enough and those who we are taking a good look at.....
