Has anyone seen Romain Esse play?
He's a left-footed OMF and WF who's a bit of a dribbler. Crystal Palace is after him. They got Eze under the nose of Spurs..now it may be Esse...
However, for a dribbler this stat is a big strange:
One key weakness is his significantly low percentile of 1.3% in progressive carrying, which raises concerns about his ability to drive attacks forward through his own runs

I agree, and think they've looked for someone to buy a minority stake. But I don't expect Joe will sell £400M of Spurs and plow it back into the club.

I'm honestly a little on the fence, because I don't think we have any real idea how good/bad this squad is. Ange just isn't fit for the job and the way we're playing with uber-naive philosophy and no real tactics just can't do well in this league.

I suspect we're better than some think, though still a ways off from seriously challenging. But I don't know if it requires £400M in players.

DM is the biggest gaping hole I see in this squad. We need 1 elite signing there, and to move Gray into the understudy role...which requires signing a RB and another CB. And a LW replacement for Son, but that might be Odobert and Moore...we don't know at this point.

Part of my problem with not sacking Ange in November is: other than the hope of the EL this season is fucked anyway, and persisting with Ange really stops us from credibly evaluating the rest of the squad and identifying the most important areas for investment.

We need two attackers asap as well as a DM and a CB. I really don’t think there is any evaluation on the squad for those positions, we have to buy big and now

Ship has certainly sailed for most of the players you listed. They're far too well known now. In our current transfer business structure, we need to find the next ones.

Your list is good but more serious clubs will certainly scoop them up.
We could get Delap Liverpool can't buy both Mbuemo and Marmoush so we could be in if Levy actually was serious or the investor came in for the summer window. Openda is still possible I think. We need a statement signing one that carries his name like Oshimen. I just hate how small we've become the fans need to demand it. Forbes have us as the 4th most profitable sports team in the world.

Juve spent 80 million on Vlahovic and now are ready to take a big hit on him. I've been telling folks forever he is the Serbian Chris Woods. That's exactly what he'd be in the EPL. What kills me is Vlahovic Solanke are perfect understudies to an elite strike. They are the player that ENIC should have purchased years ago to protect the unicorn they found in the barn. One of these lads added to the Poch prime team prevents Kane becoming the arthritic wardrobe he's become. Shocking negligence by the club. So now we need another unicorn

My own scouting for the desperate upgrade of our forward line in the next two windows at the moment looks like. Oshimen, Openda, Marmoush,David, Delap, Mbeumo. Ideally any two from this lot thanks Danny. This caliber only.
Hmm, Chris Woods you say ...

Well we're not buying 4 first team players in January - I don't think we, realistically, can identify and buy 4 players of that quality in January if money wasn't an object. Most clubs are reluctant to sell players in January they can just as easily sell in July and likely generate a larger bidding market.

I don't disagree too much with your point, but of all the positions - a legit top quality DM would be the most transformative addition we could make at the moment. So that would be my primary focus.

4th richest isn’t that enough for you , it is for 44 people on here . Some fans are never satisfied

Where is that list?
Spurs is not on the Forbes list of the 50 most valuable sports clubs in the world (which is dominated by NFL teams):

Yeah I’m talking in the summer. We need four first teamers in those positions imo. Son, Werner and Johnson are horrendous

I didn't realize David was so young. I always thought he was a decent attacker. Maybe not as slick/cultured as some of the european ballers but still overall very effective. Maybe I'm crazy but I feel like he'd be an upgrade for us on either wing right now. Can play ST too. I'd rather Mbeumo but sadly that probably beyond us now.
If it's between David & Kolo Muani, I'd much, much rather get the former.

Enrique prefers Asensio, Lee, Dembele and even that midget Doue over RKM up top. That manager is a dick and PSG a weird af club, but still.

But yeah Mbeumo is the dream. Will go to a true big club, though. We'll get the poor man's version.

He said profitable not valuable.

Werner, yes.

Son is on a decline, but he's actually still being decently efficient and productive. At this point he needs to be shifted to the bench or sold.

I'm not going to discuss Johnson.

I'm not sure if Odobert and/or Moore are the future of the LW. Unfortunately we haven't seen enough and we don't have the ability to make a good judgement anyway because they're basically playing for an amateur.

Richarlison needs to be moved and we need another CF. We need another RW, anyway, because we only have 1. If that RW puts Johnson on the bench, ok.

Maddison and Kulu at the #10. If we signed Grealish, great...but I'm not sure what that would do with Kulu who has been excellent.

Midfield is a mess, really. I'd keep Sarr, Bergvall, Gray. We need to sign an elite #6 ASAP, Gray backs up. If we can sign a first XI quality #8, I'd sell Betancur...he's not so much better than what you expect from Sarr to justify staying if he can be upgraded.

If Romero goes, we need 2 CB, if he stays we need 1. I think LB and RB is a bit much, especially if we're getting 2 CBs, so Udogie and Spence probably both stay. Definitely need a RB.

So my shopping list would be:

ASAP: DM and CF
Now if Possible, Summer if Not: CB and RB
Summer Definitely: CM, RW, and maybe CB

If you consider we shouldn't be buying anyone for that shopping list that comes in under £40M, that's a £300-350M shopping list. Can't see it.
