Dragusin was quality tonight btw.I wonder what the scouts saw in Dragusin really? He doesn't have the speed nor the passing ability to play in Angelos' system.
I am not saying he's a bad player at all but he not a good fit in Angelos' system. If Spurs could recoup the €25 million they bought him for (which I think they would), they could have used to money on Khusanov (who would cost more or less the same). Yes, Khusanov is young and relatively unproven (but he's got (1 & 1/2 season in Ligue 1 where he been one of the best CB), and he's fast, strong tackler, good in the air and a better passer than Dragusin.
Kinsky and Bervall were also unproven in the EPL before this season. And Gray was unproven at CB in the EPL.
He certainly was - and a major reason for what was that Spurs did not, for whatever reason, play their usual high-pressure style but were kept back by Liverpool.

I agree that there is a good player there - but, as I pointed out before, he's not a good fit for Spurs the way they play now. True, this is only his first season in the EPL, so he should be given time of course. They saw a beast in the air and a hard cunt, we don't have too many of them
All we need now is for Ange to continue this tactical shift, not for every game, but we all want him to learn from his mistakes
Terrible fit for this system though. We should cash in while his stock is OK, sell him to Italy.

But he lack the necessary passing abilities and speed for Angelos' style. I am sure he would do very well for a team the play lower than Spurs though.
His passing is better than that of Dragusin and Khusanov is one of the top CB's when it comes to progressive passes.I think we wanted more aerial power as we suffered a bit at times last season against the Dyches and more robust sides. I think he’s quick enough for a big defender. It’s the passing that’s the real problem.

Maybe he wasn't bought to be like for like for the system. Maybe they bought him to be different because his best games have been against City and Liverpool when we can't get the ball and dominate as much as we'd like.
Spurs beat Man City to Gray - and he did the right career move with all the games he's getting at Spurs.
That’s not the point….,Son is no longer worthy of a regular starting spot and neither is Johnson. We need two wingers, first team ready with Moore and Odebert plus Son and Johnson for rotation/subs.Why is everybody so eager on RKM? I like him, but we don't really need a striker, do we?
I'm fine with Lankshear being backup and giving him some more game time, so he can develop.
Right Bentancur crocked now get a move on and bring Doug in.
Our wingers are fucking hopeless we need an injection of quality there.
RKM can also play as a winger, which we desperately need. He is very versatile.
