Bringing in decent players also has a positive mental affect. The cavalry’s arriving, players are human, you have to give them hope. I have always even years prior got the impression Levy has no human understanding. It’s like the players are cars to him, he doesn’t understand the feeling and emotions of it all.
You are 100% correct. New players lift everyone. They realise their place might be at risk and players have this ego that they want to show team mates how good they are. Straight away everyone’s levels go up in training which can only be a positive come a match day.

When Harry came in after 2 points from 8 games that Jan we spent almost £50m, which was good money at the time, on Defoe, Keane and Palacios. Levy knows this, he’s just choosing to be neglectful this time for a reason I cannot fathom. Maybe he’s red pilled himself with the stadium and CL final into believing we can’t go down.

yeh you "change your mind" because it suits the position you have currently taken.

Maybe in future don't try and ridicule other posters for having that opinion. It's cool to not share the same opinion but you were literally 'lol'ing' and haha'ing' literally telling people that they were defeatists and had a weak mentality for thinking it was a possibility. Now you share the same opinion.

I'll change my mind when I feel like it thank you very much and save me the lecture of how to behave on a forum, not everyone takes this place as seriously as you.

Whether I change my mind is besides the point anyway, THE point is that we have 4 points in 10 matches and we're in relegation form and we have half a squad with no sign of backing, you can dance around that however much you want but if fans see it then what do you think prospective managers will see, not to mention prospective managers.

I think he's wrote off this season and is just assuming we can't go down and is showing no panic. He doesn't care about us winning a domestic cup. A deep European run is all that would motivate him now and he knows our hands are tied with the European squad numbers so isn't bothered signing more players now.

He just wants to ride out this season and then make wholesale changes in the Summer under a new manager. Thats my guess anyway. He's clearly not interested in saving this season or giving Ange any more signings!

I don't think we have any squad places available to sign players...especially foreign ones. Since we only have 3 club trained players, we lose 1 space. So 24 man squad.

Ditching club trained players doesn't give us another spot.

1 Austin, Brandon Anthony**
2 Bentancur, Rodrigo
3 Bissouma, Yves
4 Davies, Benjamin Thomas*
5 De Andrade, Richarlison
6 Dragusin, Radu-Matei
7 Forster, Fraser Gerard*
8 Heung-Min, Son
9 Johnson, Brennan Price*
10 Kulusevski, Dejan
11 Maddison, James*
12 Porro Sauceda, Pedro Antonio
13 Reguilon Rodriguez, Sergio
14 Robson, Max**
15 Romero, Cristian Gabriel
16 Sarr, Pape Matar
17 Solanke-Mitchell, Dominic Ayodele*
18 Spence, Diop Djed*
19 Udogie, Iyenoma Destiny
20 Van De Ven, Micky
21 Vicario, Guglielmo
22 Werner, Timo
23 Whiteman, Alfie Malik**
24 Kinsy
Ok Daniel, thanks, nice try

That is only for Europe and I think we'd all be happy to just remove Werner from the European squad for a new attacker!

Agree with a lot of it but I just don’t see Levy having a big summer with 1-game-a-week Tottenham.

The squad will generally go back to being manageable again in 2025/26.

He may add the odd player from one of the relegation fodder clubs such as Dibling.

Yeah that is true. No Europe covers him for squad depth so can see there being little change. TBF, I think if we had a full squad available and one game a week then we'll actually run the top 4 close again. Problem is we'll just end up back in this exact same scenario the following year because the club refuses to ever kick on and reach the next level. Basically we don't know how to back up a good season.
