And you may have said the same of Alli or possibly Bale.

Take the point and of course it's a risk.

I agree we have immediate needs that have to he addressed and should be our primary focus.
Bale cost 5 mil and so did Dele iirc. I know I know...different era blah blah blah.

Still, spending any more than 10 or 15 on Dibling would be pure folly.

I get a slightly longer legged version of Grealish with Dibbling. Hope I’m wrong, or maybe the longer stride will give him the ability to outstride tackles better than Grealish?
Mate, given your English negative bias, it’s hard to trust you on English youth… to be honest, at England U21 he hasn’t stood out for me, but looked their only bright spark against us (don’t watch enough Prem nowadays to have any firm feeling)

Who is there in France? Do like your usual ones to watch.

We really, really needed 3 players through the door, we still do need 3 players through the door. We should have went for Ben Godfrey on loan, yes, he's super shit, but he would have given us a chance to rotate, and at this stage we are losing games anyway so have 3 more able bodies to be able to lose those games could have potentially opened the door for players like Gray, Kulu and especially Porro to get a weeks rest and recovery. It would have massively taken the workload off. We need to do what we can to get players in before deadline day or else we're just going to be caught in a cycle of exhausted players getting injured until the end of the season.

Iraola is doing well right now. The season isn’t over yet and he’s yet to win anything - as a player or a coach. All I’m saying is I’d want to evaluate our next coach on more than being the latest trend. He’s hot right now but still very much building his CV and let’s face it, it’s a very early stages CV. I hope he continues building on it. If he gets top 4 with Bournemouth that’s probably a big tick next to his name but still not a trophy.

Iraola and Ange are two separate things to consider. Ange is in position, Iraola isn’t.

We are 15th right now, you cold use that logic to say 14 premier league managers should be our next manager. Doesn’t mean I’d want all of them if we sack Ange today.
Ange is one of the worst managers in the PL, no doubt about that. I'd say at least 15 of them are better, maybe even 17 or 18...and that's factoring in that Ruud is just starting out and I don't know much about that new So'ton dude.
