Mate, he wouldn't be roadblocking Lankshear, he's a completely different level of player. Lankshear still needs to build his CV somewhere on loan for the next year, maybe 2.
He’s defo more of a blunt instrument and I’m not sure where he fits into Angeball. But at this point could we turn down a reliable PL goalscorer?
Radcliffe will want a say about that..... Especially if he's having to take a massive hit on 3 1/2 more years of Rashford's 320kpw wages (and carry on paying half of Sanchos).
He's a great fit can play wide and through the center. The way Postecoglou plays football means three covers per attacking place is actually required.
They all have to come back from injury and we can only have 25 players in the squad.
Do we drop the injured players from the 25 and write them off for the season?

12 goals in 24 apps this year... Reckon it would be closer to 40m at least. We might even pay 50m because he's not a high wage earner.

Nobody else saying anything about wanting UTD, only about wanting playing time. I reckon we can offer him playing time tbh.
It's not the transfer fee with Levy, it's the wages. 50m amortised over 5 years isn't a huge hit for him. But north of 200k pw is a real issue. Fortuntaley Brentford will probably be paying him less than 100k pw so Wissa would definitely be affordable.
I’d rather rely on him than Richarlison.

I don't know when the new manager came in, but something changed last season to affect these numbers. Could be playing system, injuries, tactics, i don't know.
But i would take him, either Ange doesn't see Lankshear as short-term fill in, or thinks he needs a loan.
Either way, Richy should be considered a bust, he's just hasn't got the game for a PL player, we can't go into another season with him playing just three or four games halfway through the season.
In short without playing he's possibly caused Solanke's injury.
