He has some form of Bundesliga record for scoring a lot in spite of little playing time.
But his conditioning is apparently also not great at all. Which is why he was moved to a bench role to begin with and why Tuchel pushed for him to head on loan last season. He wanted him to develop some cardio so he could play more.
Might be wrong, but I thought the squad was only 23 players deep, not 25 and that we have 5 keepers in it ?
Call me paranoid.
But given that the CL now runs through January before the knockouts even start, I fully expect that we are going to see more long winded Januaries if Levy is still meddling with the football. He'll love trying to poach players from teams that don't make the knock out round.
