This is just unsustainable. Why would anyone want to play like this? Especially defenders. Spurs are basically headless chickens. You can see where the injuries come from.

It's nice to see statistics that validate what we're seeing.

We are left to frantically scramble more than other teams, that's just part of the way we're being set up.

He has his inverted fullback nonsense (again, compensated for by fast CBs). And apparently he's supposed to coach exciting wingers, not that we would know.

Look, I understand your point. Of course he has experience. I just want him out of the club.

Because he got injured, under our overly intense training regime. So, we categorised him as not up to it, only to find so is 90% of our squad, plus those who can withstand it have mostly seen their form capitulate.

If we’d kept him here he would have had an Odobert level injury, no doubt.

Great times.
 
Angelo Stiller would be absolutely fantastic for us to get if at all possible. Probably this summer after we move on bissouma/bentancur. A midfield core of Gray/bergvall/devine/sarr/stiller/kulusevski/maddison would be unbelievable.

That's interesting.

The trouble is in MLS the weather is regularly awful in both directions, the travel is grueling and there are quite a few artificial pitches. Plus the league is quite physical with a shit standard of refereeing.

If Angeball is too hard on the body in the PL, it might well be worse in MLS.
 
Honestly if we had serious owners Cunha would be the perfect signing for us, unfortunately we have greedy unserious owners and we will end up with the Swiss bench warmer

I want him out too but to suggest his tactics are just about fitness and running is wrong imo

Ergh the MLS - The no Relegation League where most stadiums are god awful, have cringe AF Cheerleaders & they have 'Play offs' they're not even what I consider a real soccer/football league so maybe after his tenure here he'll fit right in.

The one thing I WILL give the MLS is it doesn't use the words 'Super' or 'Mega' in their title because that's just cringe AF. Imagine being called a Something Super Duper League 🤮
