I think he was injured those few times he was left out of match squads. He was getting on the pitch before Gray and Bergval the past few games. I wouldn't rule it out that RDZ rates him. Time will tell. He's definitely one who could leave but I'm not sure. I think its 50/50

He does break up play and does it better than most. You don’t like him but to say he doesn’t break up play and get in about people is unfair and just plain wrong.
Bayern wanted him a couple years ago, a better side than all of them, but they play in a league where they dominate the ball every game so no need for a player like him. We do have a need for a player like him because incase you haven't noticed....we have a squad packed of shit footballers who struggle to string 3 passes together. Even if we did have a technical midfield and forward line, he would still have games where he can serve a purpose. Tough away games against good technical sides etc. You don't play him against bottom half sides where you are expected to dominate possession, you play him in games where you are expected to have less of the ball.

Nah, he hasn't been bad at all. He's been one of our better performers and has consistently had the correct kind of attitude to help us get out of the problems we were in. That's before you even look at the crucial goal involvements he's had.
