This was definitely Frank’s signing. It was lauded as the signing of the summer because he’s such a good fit for Frank and Spurs needed a DM.

Do people seriously not notice we had more threat because we have the ball because he was winning it???? Probably had more tackles than any other midfielder and was on a fraction of the time. Blows my mind that modern football doesn't appreciate what a player like this does for you. He gets you the ball we could barely get hold of it second half until he came on.
He should be starting ahead of Bentancur.

Just being able to tackle properly shouldn’t be enough to get you a starting spot. If it is a skill it’s basically the lowest level of skill in football. Until he can do other things well, a squad player is all he should be.
If bayern let palhinha go a free hes worth signing imo. Hes a good sub to have if were holding onto to lead or being overun. Hes good at breaking up play.
