I wasn’t overly excited when he first came in but I’d always have him in the team now. He’s a winner and gives a fuck. We need more with his attitude to hurting the opposition.
Need to keep him, need his aggression in the team whatever position plays
I checked him out on Wikipedia, despite his age he has low enough games played, could mean a bit more longevity.
Hasn’t looked out of place at CB. He may find himself shifting there full time as he gets older.
You have to make him permanent.
I don't care what the club thinks about his age, management going into next season. He offers a lot in different ways in different positions.

I dont like him much in midfield
He is very good at what he does. When it comes to tackling, he might be the best, basically.
But I think the limitations in his game, or the profile of him - its not really what I want in midfield.

...At CB he is imperious. His tackling is just as much an asset, and when he has the ball he is facing forward and has the game in front of him.
I really like him there, if Romero isnt fit for Utd Id happily play Palinha there, very confident in him in that position.

It's so obvious you have to make it permanent. He is an immense player that can cover 2 positions to a high standard AND his leadership is excellent as well.
I have always been very pro JP. You need a few hard cunts and he is one. Needs the game in front of him yes, but that alone does not mean he isn't a great player. He's actually one of the best in the world at what he does. Need to sign him.
