Not going to lie, this transfer has made me feel absolutely nothing. Reminds me a bit of the Danjuma one in 2023 where you just shrug and say “OK, I guess”… zero dopamine gained from this. Perhaps it’s just the state of us but he looks soooo meady in the clips.

He’s just a basic FB from what i can see - good athlete, main threat is ball carrying, defending in space, crossing on the overlap. Gilberto’s illegitimate son.

And i get he’s just a kid, but his technical and passing ability seems so basic… another Brazilian with no tekkers, like Emerson and Richy and Paulinho. only us.

What happened to signing jugadors like Udogie? THAT was an exciting LB prospect.
 
Seems a decent prospect I suppose on the face of it, but then my worry is you don’t see many top talents from Brazil leaving for €15 million….

A really meh/punt signing until proven otherwise.

LB was a priority but we needed a ready-made player, not a kid. And if it had to be a youngun, well it shoulda been an English one.

I wish I had a talk with him before he signed. Maybe he is so desperate though.

A generational talent that the scouts of Real Madrid, Barca, Bayern Munich, ManC, Liverpool, etc. etc. could not spot. Only Tottenham Hotspur super scouts could. And the DARING owners acted swiftly and firmly. It took them only 10 days to make it happen. :rolleyes:
 
I begged for people to give Xavi time and it appears to have fallen on deaf ears as people expect him to be prime De Bruyne in his first prem season.
