Apart from Liverpool the entire PL is littered with bang average full backs.I think he's bang average
There's no upside to a championship loan though. That's not going to catch anyone's eye for a soon-to-be 23 year old on PL squad player wages.
Agree with NW1.The championship's a tough old place, you need to be up to it physically to survive. The trouble with KWP is that he hasn't proven he's up to it physically at any level really. Very poor of us to have allowed a player to reach 22 without it being shown he can meet the physical demands of professional football. If you can survive a year in the Championship, you acquire some value.

3.5 years left on KWP contract, so after a 6 month loan will be 3 years left on contract.
Either return to Spurs after getting a decent run of games if he impresses, or potential sale to Southampton or other PL club.
Risk free strategy for Spurs.
And invaluable game time in PL for KWP
Plenty of RB Cover for Spurs includes Aurier, Tanganga, Foyth - plus Dier who played for almost a season at RB for Spurs - plus academy youngsters (either specialist RB Hinds or centre backs/RB such as Eyoma).
Nothing I must of hit something by mistake sorry!!Not sure what Saltman has against this post ?

Perfect.
And unless he's properly shit for the Saints, this will only increase his value.Good luck to him.
If he surprises then fantastic and we benefit. If not then he will still have a decent contract to work with.

We really need to put more youth talent out on loan and thankfully we appear to be doing this now.
He should have been out on loan much earlier tbf. It isn't too late for him yet but he has a lot of ground to make up.People like KWP would benefit from playing a couple seasons in the champiknsip and racking up 100 games.
