Yes very frustrating. Some players playing it too safe, especially the older ones. Bergvall and Gray don't. I think Djed doesn't as well. They recycle the ball higher up the field and open up the lines. Is really stupid to keep going back to CBs like our first half did.

After being our two best players in preseason, Bergvall and Kulusevski unsurprisingly looked great when they came on. I know Bergvall got caught in possession, but it was only because he took responsibility and was looking to receive the ball at every opportunity.
Son was shockingly poor, but Maddison was very good. We’re still extremely reliant on those two to make things happen and I think that will be a theme all year.
