Intrigued to see what tonight's line up will be, and bench. The likes of Werner, Oderbert and Moore essentially fighting for the LW back up slot.

Vicario
Porro - Romero - VdV - Udogie
Bentancur - Sarr
Deki - Maddison - Son
Solanke

That'd be my guess at the starting 11, and gives is great options off the bench.

Really looking forward to seeing Solanke tbh.

Think he'll run into the ground for us. Think we'll see a really different dynamic up there and a different variety to our attacks.
Just hope he doesn't over try. He has to realise that he's in a better team than he's been used to. Just do what it is you were doing to get yourself the move in the first place.

Can imagine the price tag will weigh heavy, but that shouldn't be seen as his problem.

Is that normal though? Thats effectively half the season of having your back 4. Thats why you have stength in depth.

When VDV is injured we cant play our system.
When Micky was injured we had Dier, Davies and Emerson as the depth.

For me LB is the most pressing weakness in the team, more than LCB. But this year if Micky gets injured it's Dragusin, Gray then Davies.

It's not normal to go a whole season with your back four fit. It's also not normal for them to play half.

Gabriel and Saliba were essentially ever presents last year for Woolwich.

We lost 12 league games last season, one was the Chelsea implosion. Of the remaining 11 only 1 was was the first choice back four, Newcastle away.

Better luck with injuries and better depth will help. Dragusin isn't going to shore up the defence as much as Micky but we lost four league games before we signed him. Having him from the start will help.

Probably! But some of the match threads just take way too long to weed through as it is and I’m sick of people trying to suck the joy out of supporting Spurs. Particularly looking forward to getting stuck back into the Kulusevski thread 😉

I might start a book on the size of my ignore list by Christmas.

Match threads after a defeat are not worth the bother except for a small handful of posters. It's just a sea of misery and I'm unhappy enough after losing.

Last time there wasn't an opening day fixture featuring at least 4 goals for one side was 14/15. A decade where every 1st round has had a team score at least 4 goals. No one has done it yet this season. Only one game left for that to happen.

COYS.

1-4 to the Lilywhites. Solanke hatrick and a Madders edge of the box stunner.
