It’s very concerning when our 3 most experienced central midfielders look completely lost and have zero presence between them. Bergvall and the untested Gray (in midfield) aside, we’ve serious issues that need resolving in the summer. Bissouma needs moving on and there’s big question marks over Bentancur as he’s still a shadow of his former self. At least Sarr has promise.
Today is the last day you can update Europa League squads so if Richy has torn something, he can be one we can take out.

With the best will in the world I don't think you can blame the coaching staff for Son's touched going the length of a swimming pool or Bissouma choosing to pass 3 metres behind his target.

Fire the game usual big talk about it’s a semi and he’d rather be there than watching from sofa. You wouldn’t think it’s a semi and we had a chance to get to a final. The whole attitude and setup is wrong. Where is the passion, fight, determination etc?

Moving Gray to RB was a poor gamble that has not paid off, he's clearly rusty in that position and sitting in tight on that right hand side because he's become accustomed to playing CB, he's trying to occupy the same positions on the pitch as he has been for weeks. Spence has done very well up against Salah. Kulusevski has been really shit, every time a move goes through him it breaks down. Son has been completely anonymous.
We desperately need a CM on the pitch who can pick out a pass. We are trying to play short passing but we have some of the most atrocious passers in the league, almost everyone in that lineup tonight is renowned for their physical attributes rather than their technical ones but we haven't changed the way we're trying to progress up the pitch at all. I would take Bentancur off for Moore, put Moore left, Son on the right, Kulu at CM and just try to get Tel some decent service for the 2nd half. I wouldn't be against a straight swap of either Biss or Bentancur for Bergvall at HT, I don't think Biss is particularly on it and isn't providing the CBs with much screening so may as well try to get someone more progressive in there.

Could have been a.lot worse that half. I'd put kulusevski as number 10 role. 4-3-3 ain't working. Bergvall on for Sarr as well. Can see us scoring though.
