Liverpool v Tottenham (Sun, 16:30 GMT)

Tottenham Hotspur
More from Tottenham manager Igor Tudor on Joao Palhinha and Cristian Romero and how long they may be out for.
The club follows concussion protocols following their clash of heads in Tuesday's defeat at Atletico Madrid.
Tudor said: "I don't know. I think they will be back for sure for Nottingham Forest, maybe even the Champions League. I don't know exactly [what the injury is] but they will probably be back."
On Destiny Udogie: "Destiny is almost back. For sure [back for Forest]."

That is big for Forest we need assuming he sticks to a back 3

Rule says at least 6 days but depends on their recovery. No doubt out for Athleti but who cares. Would think Romero would be ok for Forest which will be 12 days after the event but Palhinha looked in a bad state on Tuesday so wouldn’t bank on him.
You couldn’t make it up.

I am really glad we didn’t stress purchase Lookman and Hackney in January. Much better to wait for summer when all the players will want to join us in the championship.

So….

The concussion protocol for professional players follows the enhanced care pathway.

It stipulates that players with suspected concussion symptoms must have a rest period of 48 hours followed by a six-day gradual return to training.

All being well, the guidelines are that light exercise is permitted in days three and four, football-specific exercise in days five and six, non-contact training in days seven and eight, and then full-contact training in days nine, 10 and 11.

Forest 🌳 not ruled out…… yet…

Hope to god he doesn’t. That line up will get hammered 5 or 6. Not good for our goal difference.
Better off with Spence in defence and Porro up the wing on the right ahead of him ,where he can get some crosses in.

Tudor reckoned Romero and Palinha back for Forest.
