I can’t join in the criticism of Bergvall and Gray. At their ages and stage of development, they need nurturing, proper coaching, tactical awareness driven into them and encouragement from players around them leading by example. Thought our play was mostly outstanding. We controlled large parts of that first half and were definitely unlucky to concede...but VAR is re-refereeing the game again. Maddison showed what a leader and fine player he is.

Some times a manager can be that bad.
I support the Detroit Pistons in the NBA. Last season they broke the longest losing streak in a season record because their coach was straight up ass and didn't try to coach them. Fast forward to now after a coaching change and some minimal roster changes and they've made the play offs.
Not saying that the players don't deserve blame. But some times a manager can literally be that bad.
