Started watching, must say I didn’t think it was even a foul, won the ball and slid onto the Brum player, no raised foot.
I chose the right night not to bother watching any games..Dorrington on after 62 mins - Aberdeen losing 3-1 at that moment, lost 5-1 to Celtic at home.
Stoke and Orient also lose with all our 3 loanees play full 90 mins
Only reason we bought him was to make some money. Business opportunity for Daniel.Watched about an hour, was very good, looks about a £20m player so given injuries think £15m is lowest we should/will accept.
Have said before, think we should give Shaktar half of any fee, but Levy won’t.

You’re right, we should give something to Shaktar , they were in the middle of a war. Levy is pally with Leeds CEO, Kinnear. Should try and sell them Solomon but get Harry Gray in the deal as well. Looks a real centre forward .

Maybe a couple of go karting tickets instead?Watched about an hour, was very good, looks about a £20m player so given injuries think £15m is lowest we should/will accept.

Fair enough and thanks for the comprehensive info, but I can't help but think we have some sort of a moral obligation here, especially after the horror of yesterday.Spurs job is to sign players who they consider good value, so signing Solomon is normal business.
Solomon was only signed by Spurs after Shakhtar had taken FIFA/UEFA to court and then CAS on appeal over their ruling that any contract between a foreign player and a Ukrainian club was cancelled (with Shakhtar losing). So at the time Spurs signed him he was not a Shakhtar player. He had been on loan from Shakhtar to Fulham in 22/23.
A combination of Solomon's injury and not great form meant Spurs were not interested in retaining him last summer ...... and Shakhtar were not interested in taking Solomon back due to his wages...... hence his loan to Leeds with Yorkshire Post reporting Leeds are only paying 'a significant part of Solomon's wages' ( ie Spurs paying part of his wages) with Leeds being highest bidder for Solomon (ie prepared to pay his wages).
Shakhtar had been trying to persuade Levy to pay at least £20m (starting from a higher number and coming down to £20m) for Solomon before their CAS loss (one of the reasons why I suspect Levy hosted a match which all proceeds went to Ukraine which the Shakhtar Chairman attended) , so I suspect they'll not be happy whatever Spurs offer them after deducting his medical costs and wages not paid by Leeds.
My feelings entirely. Business is business Daniel might say . Donald Trump would definitely say that but who wants to be associated with shite like that.Fair enough and thanks for the comprehensive info, but I can't help but think we have some sort of a moral obligation here, especially after the horror of yesterday.
I hate the expression but it seems like a "right side of history" moment.
