Performance Loan Watch

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Haven't watched all of the game but it seems Yang is playing down the middle and not seeing much of the ball. He made a good run after a corner and sent in a low cross which provided QPR with their best chance.
Hoops losing 1-0 at HT but Haito (very decent midfielder) was elbowed just before HT and WBA down to 10 men, which means it's unlikely we will be seeing Big Will today.

QPR are absolutely focused on going left side with Saito but the only close chances came from the right side.
Dembele looks really good and he made a great pass to Yang to cross for a good header.

Looking to be a shit loan for Lankshear now.
Said when it happened it seemed a bit ambitious and West Brom bringing in Armstrong really limits the minutes. Outside of key injuries, it's only going to get harder to find opportunities in the run-in as West Brom push for play-offs. Dane and Parrott both had similar loans where the club chose to push them above the level they're ready for instead of sending them lower down for consistent minutes.

Yeah the loaning of young strikers to the Championship doesn't work. They are competing for one position against established players with bigger reputations like Armstrong at WBA and in Dane's case has come against forwards who have just led their clubs to promotion in Harris (Oxford) and Hirst (Ipswich).

And so to get in the team in the first place becomes a challenge. Far better to go to L1 or abroad as first choice. I saw a bit of Eliot Anderson then of Newcastle now Forest tearing other teams apart for Bristol Rovers at L2 level, added far more to his value and experience than some cameos in the Championship.

Solomon starts.
Getting into a proper dog fight at the top of the table with Sheff United and Burnley. Parker's defence is incredible. Only 10 goals conceded.

Bring Connor back!
Solomon shows fantastic skill to manipulate a shooting chance in a crowded box. Forces the save and Leeds should have scored from the rebound.
Rodon doing well, too.

Westerlo now odds on to avoid the relegation play offs I'd have thought after beating Anderlecht and other teams around them losing :

Bottom of table :

10th placed Westerlo have 34 points with one game to play against bottom side' Beershoft away
11th placed OHL behind on GD - last match v Sint Truiden in 14th place
12th placed Dender on 32 points and much worse GD - last match away to Mechlen in 9th place
==================================================
13th placed Cercle Brugges on 32 points - last club in relegation play offs. Last match v Anderlecht away
14th placed Sint Truiden on 31 points but would need 15 change in GD to affect Westerlo
15th and 16th placed clubs too far behind
