I don’t know if Lucas has had concussions before, but what you say is true, although I think Lucas is probably a way off the high risk zone yet.
A young, talented Aussie batsman, Will Pucovski, had to retire because he got hit in the head a number of times (whilst wearing a helmet abviously) and had to retire very young. He now suffers what he called “scary symptoms”. He did get 13 confirmed concussions mind you.
These are the FA's recommended concussion guidelines. Prem clubs tend to not follow it exactly but gives a good idea of the process.

Absolutely - just give him some consistent game time - he is young and a bit impetuous - but youd have to be blind to not see he has all the attributes - and unlike our "pivot" CMs hes going to get better - not regress.
I feel a bit sorry for him, I genuinely think playing at another club and starting every week would be better for his development than whatever it is we’re doing with him.

His progression was one of the bright spots last year. He’s a talent and Frank is just ignoring it.

Meh. Off the ball he tears about like a puppy on a PCP enema. On the ball, very little composure, can carry but vision/passing is nothing special.
Like Odobert, Gray, and Tel, he should be out somewhere getting regular football under less pressure.
