he got the assist tonight with a sharp bit of play, was taken off when he shouldnt of been cos we went flat after that, the team looks far more energetic when hes there, so yes, id say he affects games.

not sure what youre expecting from a 19 year old lol.

Yes he’s a young talented player, clapping the fans tonight? As I said last season he could take a dump on the centre circle and get praised for it. Don’t understand how his performances have warranted a cult like love.

You don't think he cares? To me, hes one of the only players who doesn't hide when things are going badly, always shows for the ball, doesn't give up. He's not a hojbjerg performative pointer who never actually wants it. You look at someone like Johnson for example, who makes runs directly behind defenders so he can't be found, or tel who runs the other way down the wrong channel, porro who plays hot potato with it and can't wait to get rid. It may not always work but he keeps trying. There's a lot to be said for that, especially at his age.

The real 'triers' will always, always get fans onside more than players like Romero for example, who are very talented but look like they don't want to be there when the chips are down.

Maybe I'm wrong but I'm not the only one who sees that.

Where did I say he doesn’t care?

Johnson and Tel don’t purposely make runs so they can’t be found with a pass. Fucking hell.

You aren’t wrong, the majority of football fans idolise hard work, in the UK that seems the most important thing. Yes you need players who are grafters but need a team that offers more than just that. None of our fit midfielders offer much more than work rate at the moment.
 
Players giving this young lad shit when his attitude and application is spot on. He's not the finished article but he's brave doesn't give up and always give 100%. I love him.
 
My name says it all.

He works hard and is progressive with the ball, always looking to create opportunities for others.
The more he plays, we will start to see a more complete player thats able to consistently pull out more intricacy and quality in game through passes and dribbles.
As other posters have said, hes 19 and far from the finished article, which is why it's exciting to already see him affecting games as much as he does.
Easily an automatic starter from now on, and we will benefit massively from it.

hope he starts against forest, hes looking slightly pissed off i think, being shunted out a bit when he was our best player last year and hes been decent everytime hes played this year, brings intensity to the whole team.
 
I wonder if Frank got annoyed with him - for trying the back heals and flicks against Fulham.
He was easily our best player in that match - and he did well when he came on today. he won the pen with a run and pass.
Playing two player like Bergval and Simons might be step too much for Frank - neither has a long throw and they might like the odd shot from distance.

I'm pretty sure I've JUST walked past Lucas Bergwall's brother on the High Road... The SPIT of him, and was with 4 of the most beautiful looking Swedes I've ever seen in my life....

Anyway, I wasn't sure if stopping to ask a group of Swedes if they're related to Bergwall was a great idea....

It went badly last time I stopped a group of South Koreans and asked if they were Sonny's family!!!
