100 goals?Its crazy people talk about a kid played in a world cup quater final champions league and scored over 100 goals like he's Saido Berahino. If he does nothing else he has had a fine career. Odd choice to dunk on him when you get he shouldn't have made it at all, a sexually abused child is not really set up for a long elite career. He didn't just inexplicably drop off he just couldn't continue to out run his demons. Think Paul Stewart.
Nobody is comparing him ability or achievement wise to Berahino. Its the extent to which he seemed to fall off the face of a cliff where the comparison has been drawn. He was incredible. Absolutely incredible and the drop off was insane. But I take your point, probably unfair to have brought him into it in the circumstances on reflection.
The mad thing is with Dele is he is only 29 now , literally age wise would still be in the prime of his career , I’ll never forget that game against Chelsea at the lane , managed to get tickets for it , the atmosphere was unbelievable that night and Dele got both goals , wasnt it his flick on for the CL Ajax goal as well, literally never known such a player to fall off like he did!

I'm really looking forwards to when Vuskovic breaks into the first team . I've been following LV since we signed him and the lad is a brilliant CB and he likes to get forward for set pieces and to get his name on the score sheet .

One of my favorite Dele goals was also against Chelsea I think in the FA cup. I think semi final? Eriksen that mid area to the right with the inswinging ball I think Dele caught on the half volley. Was a beauty on both fronts. We lost that game. I think it was the Son at LWB disaster.
I do think a lot of Dele’s fall off coincided with Eriksen’s for us. He was always best as an off the ball mover and quick touch player. The more he was on the ball the worse he was.
