Romero as a 6 is an interesting idea that has been floated a few times. He is a superb passer and a weapon offensively.
The goal is just incredible. I’ve watched his games for Hamburg and I’d get him back now. He’s ready to play now. He’s our back up to Cuti and VdV. He’ll get a good few games and is much better than Danso.
He’s a weapon in both boxes but he can also play.

He's going to be a class above Cuti and VDV soon enough. Hopefully next season already.

He might be better than Cuti, but not Romero IMHO.
I'd say leave him to do well for the season. Think we need to see whether Dragusin can make it as a Frank player. IMO we need 5 CBs. Issue is that we will have 5 international CBs! Good problem to have.
I think we all know the answer to that already.
I quite like this idea of signing good young talent and loaning them to the BL for a year or 2 to develop.

The manager’s job is to get the most out of the players he has. Bring Luka back, and there’s no way that he, Cuti, and VDV aren’t three of our top handful of players. Play a back three, play Romero as a 6, play VDV as a left fullback, whatever—that’s for Frank to figure out.
If he stays out for the full year, I would understand the decision. But I’d love to see him with us ASAP.

Without proper depth at LW and CAM we're better off playing 3-4-3 anyways- it'd be a very easy switch for us to make.
