Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

This is the way I think the summer should go down if we're relegated:

Go - Kudus, Simons, VDV, Romero, Vicario, Gallagher, Porro, Kinsky, Solanke, Bissouma

Stay - Bergvall, Gray, Maddison, Kulusevski, Vuskovic, Davies, Danso, Dragusin, Phillips, Taki, Sarr, Bentancur, Udogie, Spence, Richarlison, Tel, Odobert, Moore, Scarlett and all the kids from the academy on the fringe of the first team

Ben Davies to be named club captain and the transfer priority should be a new 1st choice keeper and a new back-up. Kinsky clearly isn't ready for our first team and he should either be sold or sent on loan to get first team experience.

Vuskovic should be in good company here with the experience of Ben Davies. He will also learn from Danso, Dragusin and the other young CBs we will have in the squad.

Some of the players I've said to stay might not like it but they're going to have to get used to it. And if they're quality players with the right mindset they won't see the Championship as beneath them.
Ben has been sorely missed. Calming influence, steady player. If we go down he needs a new contract as current one is up in the summer. Solanke and Gallagher won’t be going anywhere. Bentancur prob go. Can we get anybody to buy Tel, I doubt it.

I love how people on here think we can force this guy to play in the Championship. His stock is high and after the World Cup it'll be even higher. If Croatia can get to the last 8 he will almost certainly make the team of the tournament. If we hold firm and refuse to sell him he will down tools and refuse to play. So we fine him a few weeks wages. Not going to make a blind bit of difference. Top teams can keep disgruntled players but we cant because:
1. We are skint
2. We are shit
3. We need players who want to play for us
He’s not first choice for Croatia so might just get the odd game . Going over the top a bit.

Got his first Croatia goal tonight against Colombia in his 2nd start for the senior team.

I mean of course he may leave but we can do whatever the fuck we want. If we don't want to sell him or loan him we don't have to.

Sure he might kick up a stink and go on strike or whatever, but if we can refuse to sell Harry Kane to Man City, we can sure as hell refuse to sell/loan Luka Vuskovic. Especially if clubs aren't willing to pay what he's worth.

He's got 4 years left on his deal and his wages are peanuts. Spurs are the ones who will decide his future and if we're getting low-balled we should 100% just keep him and say 'play or enjoy the reserves'. Within a few weeks he'll be itching to get on the pitch.

As for your 'only good teams can hold onto disgruntled players' thing, while not on the same scale, Leeds refused to sell Gnonto a few years ago after they got relegated (at the time an Italy international with 13 caps and considered far too good for the Champ). He kicked up a strop then buckled down and proceeded to play over 80 times for them in the Championship.

We’re all just talking here. All just groundless opinion on this and every other thread.

He may feel he owes us for looking after him and giving him the opportunity to develop. He may think a season with us in whatever league will help him develop further. He may want out as soon as he gets here.

Fucked if any of us know, just chatter man.
