Best young centre half in Germany last season. If we were looking to sign him and we’re bidding £50m, we’d want him in the first team squad, so why not now, when he’s already our player?

Smoked is maybe a bit of a stretch. But he 100% fumbled on that goal by losing track of Lukaku who he was meant to mark. He just gives Lukaku acres of space that you just don't give a striker like Lukaku.

Also Doku has him on strings a couple of times. Not a nightmare performance but you can see that there is still some bedding in to be done.

Why would we get rid of Udogie? I thought the whole point of getting Robertson in is to relieve the burden on Udogie so that he CAN have a break every 5/6 games...?

He is 19 and will make mistakes. Gray & Bergvale are 20 and have been in the squad and played loads of times but neither are definite starters yet. We need to integrate him into the team now. He will not be a starter at first and will need to fight for his place. He is a full international, got in the German League team of the year. Send him on loan and it encourages the big clubs like Bayen who are after him.
With his size he will be invaluable in the air in both boxes and if we are pressing for a goal in the final mins throwing him on could get us one, alternately when we are under severe pressure in the final mins to see a game out Dragusin has been sent on as an extra defender. Vuskovic would be a big advantage if being bombarded with corners & Free Kicks.
Agreed. Udogie has show high potential. He needs proper coaching and to stay fit for a season and see where that takes him.

The smart play would be to sell this summer if we got a massive bid. We don’t know how he does over here for a start, use the funds up the top of the pitch.
In an ideal world we’re already a good team and he comes back to be part of the squad and see how he does but that’s not where we are. With the two cbs potentially coming in we’re looking okay there.

This would literally be the most stupid fucking move when it’s clear as day that he is tearing it up everywhere he has been
how many times have you watched him? let’s see how he would do in the premier league. He’s played in Poland, Belgium and in a Hamburg team that are near the bottom and are probably quite deep, How will he do with space behind him. How will he do against better players, quicker players.
a lot of the hype seems to have come from the amount of goals he’s scored for a CB.in an ideal world get him back in the squad or loan him out again with a contract extension but we need a massive re working of the squad. So if you got a big offer then selling him wouldnt be the most stupid thing at all especially with our CB options, it would actually be smart. He could be very good but then how much more value is he adding to what would be a decent group, He could disappoint a little and not break through as expected, then you’re not getting the funds to reinvest in attacking areas.
