It truly is odd he won't give Donley or Santiago a run out. We literally know what Johnson and Gil will provide. Why not give Donley and Santiago a go. He knows more then us, I get that. But, we can't waste these kids missing U23 games just to sit on the bench for the senior team. Get them out on loan so they can compete for first team minutes next season instead
What is this talent that people keep going on about? I’ve yet to see it. Can he cross, pass, beat a man , hold the ball up, score goals , etc? Now and then he may have an out a cross in. His playing in his fave position. I’m really not sure what he can offer in the way we play. If he was playing for manure he’d look better.

That’s why you don’t let your squad down to no good creative midfielders. I get the letting the team rot until you need many windows to address it. Like the CB situation too.
