It's not the switch to a back 3 per se, it's the tactical change and message of we are going to shell out the game that we were dominating, instead of trying to push on and win it. Utd had fuck all. Either just change VDV for Dragusin (which would have made sense considering VDV's first game back from injury) or swap out Skipp for another midfielder/forward. I thought the game was there for the winning, and we were the ones pushing hardest until that sub which changed us into a more defensive mindset.
