I thought he was hit and miss but he did great with his assists and, with a run of games, other aspects of his game may sharpen up.

After today, seems a no brainer to keep him on the left and let Son continue through the middle.

Wasn’t convinced but he obviously worked really, really hard and did a lot defensively. Was a thorn throughout. Just thought the end product was very sloppy .. but hey, two assists.

Feeling is a useful squad player going forward.

Happy that Manor got a real chance, obviously he is not your first pick for the starting eleven.
But I think he can be good rotation player especially when you don't play with Richarlison, and Son goes to the striker position.

I think he got a bit excited today at the begining, but you will be sruprised from what he can give you when he will get the confidence.

Your lad done you proud mate , I think he’s going to be a very good acquisition

Five key passes plus the two assists in only 70 minutes. Those are big numbers.

Could have been even better too. Thought he looked alright nervous and too keyed up in the first half and he overhit a couple passes after getting in good positions. Settled down later though.

Considering how overheated the transfer market is, getting a reliable backup for free is amazing. He’s probably worth £25-30m on the market.

can definitely tell he's not the quality of player who should be starting for us long term, but at the same time you could trust for him to come in when needed and play significant minutes/matches.

He was bought in to be a squad player and he's perfectly acceptable as that. He had some good moments today and should only get better along with the team.

The passes that mattered were perfect but I do agree he can improve. But what he was tasked with doing, he done well.

Much better shot on him than Lennon.

Not as fast.

Think he’s the starting LW now.
I'm still on the fence.

He did get two assists but they were fairly simple passes you'd expect any professional winger to make.

I don't think he's really a goal threat and that will be the issue. In Kulu we already have a forward who doesn't score.

It seems Johnson will probably be our second best finisher, after Son, so I don't think it will take him long to break into the first XI.

A front three of Solomon - Son - Johnson is possible but I think Ange likes Kulu's ball carrying/creativity from the right so Solomon would be the one to lose out but let's see.
