I'm genuinely excited to watch him in an Ange team. He was one of the very few players I found entertaining last season.
Because they are soft!! Better off in the Spanish league.
If Gil can take to Ange’s style quickly then he has the ability to step up. He can’t come in and show wee bits here and there,he has to take it by the scruff of the neck. He’s not like Lo Celso in terms of injured all the time but he just seems weak and looks like he’ll get blown away. He might just surprise us and give us something different to Perisic,Richy,Solomon or Johnson from the left.
When you see the likes of Lo Celso and Gil with the ability they have you wonder what their mindset is. In Spain these two hold their own but seems a bit too much here. Don’t get me wrong Gil hasn’t had many chances though.
Conflating Gil with GLC is bollocks quite frankly.... For multiple reasons.
If Ange likes Gil, and he must quite like him, as he's getting him involved this weekend, then I hope he gets some decent game time, and we either see a proper player emerge, or he fucks off.

Surprised Cunti loaned him out, he was one of the better players.
I really didn't see a lot of games last season, but I did watch the 3-0 over PNE, he looked great in that and we certainly looked a better team with him in it when we came on. He set up.... can't remember his name now, plays for Everton, goal on his debut.
