Player Manor Solomon

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I don't know what this term "take ons" actually means. I know he's as much a dribbler as Brennan Johnson is.

What was Brennan Johnsons "take ons" last season and his last season at Forest?
1 for both, putting him in the bottom 25% for wingers.
My point is more that Ange has seen him in training and if he's going then Ange doesn't think he can do it enough. Either that or he doesn't like him. 🤷‍♀️
He's clearly still recovering from a big knee injury, maybe he'll never fully recover from it. We don't have the time to give him to slowly get back to his best, but for clubs starting the likes of McNeil it could be a decent gamble.

If he was a dribbler like you claim GGTH GGTH Ange would have kept him in the squad and not tried to flog him off first attempt.

Ange has gone on record saying we need (or needed) a different type of player then what the squad currently had when we signed Odobert indicating we had no direct dribbler types.

I don’t understand this modern logic that a player is either really good or completely shit. The vast majority will fall into the massive grey area in the middle.
Like many other players he’s obviously half decent otherwise he wouldn’t be a professional footballer, but he’s clearly not good enough for the level we’re aiming for. Instead of absolutely ripping him apart and attacking him why can’t people just hope he finds a move to a more suitable club and wish him well?

Or he's a dribbler but Ange wanted a better one.

Could be that Manor doesn't fit in well with the group as well. Either way, us not needing him doesn't mean he can't help other teams. This is a guy with champions league experience for Shakktar and stand out performances with goals against teams like Real Madrid.

He's a premier league level winger for sure.

People operate on extremes sadly.

It was so obvious last summer that it was an opportunistic freebie signing and he'd never be good enough. He was pretty average and injured a lot at Fulham. Really annoying when the club makes signings like this and just clutters up the squad and they're always a nightmare to get rid of. Was it really worth pissing off a decent club like Shakhtar, who we may want a good player from at some point to maybe make an eventual £2m or £3m?
