I couldn’t care less about him or his dopey beliefs, but he’s a Spurs player. If he wants to parrot idiocy he should be held to account for it like anybody else.

But to keep it on topic, he’s not good enough for us, and he’s creating problems. Do you think some of the other players in the squad will share his views? I bet you they don’t..

You're going political and bringing in other stuff. This really should just be about football, i don't want to be writing this stuff, but since it seems ok for others..

Fair enough if one's opinion is he was out of line etc especially as he's employed etc and there are rules around that i guess.
Also if he's not good enough, or injury prone, also fair enough he should get the flick. But there's also propaganda that on the other side which is just accepted. Bringing stuff subtely about religion and God being a joke, it's getting a bit over the top.

Since this got raised in the football section...Of course he's a Zionist. ( the proper meaning) He loves his country. It really just means a belief in self determination in his tiny homeland. (just as others have) Any other use of that term has just been to demonise. It's just pure ignorance.

Personally i think he was excellent for Leeds, but want him sold and moved on. Not apart of Spurs anymore. He was repeatedly injured here. The ship sailed a while ago for him here. Take the money and move on for him and us.
 
Any discussion that isn't about the player with regards to his role at our football club and you're going in the bin. I get that those topics are intrinsic to this particular player but this isn't the place to discuss them. Cheers

Archie Gray was excellent at Leeds too. Also lots of our players have been repeatedly injured.

I don't see who we have on the left that is so much better than Solomon? Son is declining, Odobert is another player from the Championship that wasn't any better in that league than Solomon was last season, Tel, not sure even if being a left sided player suits him. Moore still needs a loan IMO.

So unless Frank is going to ditch playing three forwards, why get rid of Solomon in particular?

Assuming son is sold, moore loaned and a starting LW brought in that would leave Solomon 4th choice behind the new guy, odebert and tel.

Keeping him to be 4th choice instead of selling him and using that money to help strengthen another position would make no sense.

Well obviously I don't know how Frank will rank the players but there's nothing IMO to say Solomon should be behind Tel or Odobert. It will probably depend on how they are at training and pre season, then if Solomon is seen as a lesser player so be it.

I don't think that has been established yet though.

Solomon is 5 years older and not significantly if even at all better than odebert or tel, we’re not giving him minutes over those two who were more recently signed for over 20 million a piece.

Well if it's going to be a case of, the club more recently paid more for the other two, regardless of who would be the most useful in that position, then so be it, Solomon is the cheapest.

We used to brag about the fact Dele only cost £5m
