Match Thread: Everton (H) THE GAME IN HAND

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

1050 FOOTBALL: News from the Tottenham camp now and manager Harry Redknapp has revealed at his press conference that Scott Parker is "very, very doubtful" for tomorrow's key league match with Everton at White Hart Lane. Skipper Ledley King is definitely ruled out.

FUCK!

Shit and Fuck!!

we may have only lost once WITH Parker in the team, but we've lost both WITHOUT him...

not sure if the prospect of Kranjcar & Modric in the middle fills me with TOO much confidence... maybe Livermore can step up and BE THE MAN!

we beat WBA without him

Massive loss this, given the other injuries we have. The likelihood of conceding goes up massively - no Parker, Sandro, King or Gallas

Basically both the first choice player and their replacements in pivotal positions all out.

Not ideal at all. Not that confident any more.

Same,

I'm starting to think injuries are going to fuck us in the ass this season.

Without lube. :vdv:

Indeed - or lube with sand in it

IMO we were always going to need to be relatively lucky with injuries - imagine if Adebayor gets injured?

It's a damn shame that all of a sudden a few have turned up in the same spot, but thus far this season we've been relatively lucky.

We're obviously still favourites for tomorrow, but I think given the likelihood of conceding, we'll need a better attacking performance than we gave vs. West Brom

I think if Parker is going to be missing for games these are the ones.

Who are their central midfielders? Neville in CM, choice of Osman, Donovan, Rodwell, Cahill. And they have their own injury concerns. Jagielka out, Cahill, Rodwell, Osman all doubtful. Both right backs carrying injuries.

This has to be 3 points, look at Man Utd injuries - playing midfielders in defence, City losing players to the AMC and suspensions. Its football, injuries happen. We have to deal with it, turning up pessimistic is no good for anyone.

Neville v Livermore in the midfield battle, Jake has the legs to handle that.

Bale, VDV, Modric, Adebayor, Walker, BAE, Kaboul all rested and raring to go, I really don't see how we can view this as anything but a chance to go level with United on points.

Ade and Modric was poor in the last game need better from both. Got to start with Lennon aswell.

great post, bang on

What we'll be saying to Everton after the game:

"First Lady, we're sorry we pimp-slapped you into that china cabinet. We used excessive force. Oftentimes, we cross the line, but we try to do so in the name of what's right. Most of the time, the ends justifies the means. But in this case, we feel like I betrayed our own code of ethics. And for that, sugar, I apologize."

Lets pull down their trousers and give them a good fucking raping!

Now I've got that out of the way, would anymore rest anyone e.g Modric or Ekotto or stick with them, hope they can play against Wolves and then hope a weeks rest will have them ok for Man City. I am starting to worry that not rotating much will his us later on

I think big Jake should do the job...well he bloody has to.And even if Scotty manages to become fit somehow I'd have him on the bench. He needs rest.

And we better have a good 60-70 mins...then only we can sub Modric-Bale(to keep em fresh)...

Niko deserves some playing time..he's too good a player to be on the bench..

At the moment 3 points. I don't care how either. At least until we are over injuries and level/ahead of Man U!
