Can't speak for everyone, just myself. I couldn't give a shit about how many goals someone scores in the FA Cup or League Cup. It's not a measure of quality or consistency, a 38 game league program is and is a level playing field for all.

And again, I can't speak for others, can only give my own opinion. Johnson's goal's tally in the league, which is the only thing that makes him actually viable, because he does most other things badly (including creating for others and defending from front to back) wasn't particularly spunktastic. 11.

You're entitled to rate him. I don't and have explained why.

Well if we’re talking facts, only 2 of his 18 goals came in the league cup or FA cup so not many goals there for you to care about. They were both winners, mind.

I’m sure you cared a little more for the 5 he scored in the Europa, including the semi final and the winning goal in the final.

Projecting how miserable he is in life back into the club he supports, there's a fair few of them who make it their entire personality to hate everything about this club and will fester in negativity to make themselves feel better, now that Ange has gone and that thread is dead they need to seek validation in finding a new target.
 
I think anyone judging Tel on the few games he played for us last season, in a losing team that had downed tools in the league, is very naive. He clearly is a talented player, with some great attributes: athleticism, technique, pace, aerial. ability, ball striking, positive attitude. I think we have a real player on out hands here and he is effectively Son's replacement as an inside left forward (not a touchline hugging winger who will get to the byline as per Ange ball).

Why wouldn’t I? Most people on here thought the same about Frankfurt you wally. You didn’t because you think we will win every game and every single one of our players is the bestest ever.
