He still is a young kid, still created a huge chance for richie, still nearly scored early on, but yes he faded badly and messed up some pivotal positions at the end but he gave his all,

He smashed into the side hoardings was down injured then saw the danger and legged it 50 yeard sback to get back and make a great clearence.

It’s funny, his wiki page says he started as a CB, lol. Normally players start up front and when they realise they aren't good enough to play higher up they drop back, he's done the opposite! It makes sense why he looks so awkward and lacks flair and intelligence to play in the final third. I think there's a serious case of delusion going on. We had that for the previous two years with that charlatan manager telling us all how good he is. Now we got a CB trying to play LW.

Of all the people I blame it is not him. While our attack is wank, he seems to be the only one busting a gut, trying to make something happen.

He may lack quality (that is on our recruitment team), he is not lacking effort. I think there is a player in there but he needs coaching on decision making and calmness in the box.
 
Tel plays because of the incompetence above him.

He just a natural and somewhat expected output, and further reason to excommunicate Lange and Ventkatesham.

Let us not conveniently forget the many that called Levy a cheapskate when it looked like Tel had turned our loan bid down. I don't forget easily.

And yet on Sunday he could be villain or saviour, so erratic is his play. Weird.
 
He’s had chances in recent games to prove he should be part of this squad in the coming seasons, but he hasn’t really strengthened his case.

I see him gone in a year or two.

Yeah, he's literally the only creative player we have available, it's all on him so it's no wonder he's feeling the pressure and trying too hard.

He's not "shit" as some keep saying, he's young, in a blunt team, in a situation he's never had to deal with before and is obviously struggling under the responsibility he's feeling.

He should be a rotation option and would probably look a different player if he was.
It's not his fault that our squad is fucked and at least he's bold enough to try to take charge - What's RKM, the senior pro doing?
 
If spam were battering Leeds and he was aware of it/us needing a result and we had a pen he was taking in the final seconds to keep us up, he'd likely try and Panenka it.

Only reason he gets the abuse because he's usually the only one of the front 3 doing stuff despite it going wrong more than right , I include solanke in that too

Take away Kudus and that frontline..well it's scary how bad they've allowed it to get. I mean really Kudus isn't nothing special either really, just Summerville adjacent
 
As many have said countless times great attitude and tries his best - his best is just not good enough but its still better than the other two tossers we have up front.

There's clearly a high ceiling with him. He's just uneven since he is quite young still and made a dumb move to go to Bayern so quickly and not playing.

He's far from the top of the list of players that I would want shipped out. But we need another LW in as well so we don't have to rely on Tel as much. So he has a chance to grow more steadily.
