but its how he looks on the ball, how he moves etc. he didnt look smooth on the ball to me, 50m for a young forward youd expect to see something and think 'ok'. he looks average. this has got brennan johnson value written all over it.

gray and bergvall are kids, but you can tell they are players even tho they have been playing in a dog shit team. they are silky on the ball.

to be fair spence is a good comparison, hes not the silkiest of players on the ball but he still adds weight to the team through other areas. didnt see nothing from tel tonight to be excited by, hope to be proven hilariously wrong.

spence was one of our only players tonight that was actually winning his duals in the trenches.

Just give it a few games at least before you kick off. It seems like you are primed to hate the kid. I say that with respect as I don't want a cunt off.

I saw some directness, decent touch and a few nice passes. And more importantly the right attitude. Digging out his wimpy teammates and trying to get something going.

I think he's got a bit about him. This is not the game to judge him on. Literally no support.

not primed to hate him at all, i hope he does turn out to be a success but i dont see it going from what we saw tonight. i didnt see any raw qualities from him, he didnt look elegant on the ball, he didnt look quick enough to be feared by the opposition, i thought the weight on his passes were off...didnt see much to get excited by.

whereas gray and bergvall you can instantly see they are natural footballers with the way the ball behaves in their possession and how they move.

im also basing tel on the clips that have been posted on his page from pre season games, and the fact that 60M is the figure being quoted.... 60m i expect to see some X factor.
