So on what planet is Tel worth a 50M fee? Tired of punts on potential but if that’s the model than pay 8.5M for the next Bergvall. Dont get suckered by the Bayern pedigree - where he has failed to make an impact. We’ve already paid more on Tel’s loan fee than Bergvall’s entire transfer.
Fine to loan Tel again for a small fee or buy him for 10-15M - otherwise Bayern can f’ right off.
More importantly- established f’in players please!

Disagree - he’s not a goal scorer yet. He strikes the ball hard, but that doesn’t mean he can score goals
His shooting technique is elite. The goals will come.
The only issue is the 50m,
Get them down to 30 and there’s nothing to lose imo.

But we can afford the gamble, the money league table says we are in the top 10. Yet we act like a club on the brink of administration.
Fwiw, I thought paying similar money for Richarlison was stupid. I think tel has more upside than Richarlison. But I don't think tel is worth 60. I expect bayern to accept less of they really want him sold. I don't know what they plan to do themselves, coman and gnabry might leave giving tel more game time.

We’ve pissed enough money up the wall with Richi, Johnson and to a certain degree Solanke (jury still out until we’ve seen him under a decent manager) to adopt a gambling attitude to this signing.
Our next £50m/£60m signings need to be as much a sure thing as we can ascertain and they need to drop into the starting line up and deliver from the get go.

Yeah, I was at the Forest game and couldn't believe his relative lack of pace in that play. Was expecting him to leave the FB standing.
I love his energy and the fact he's always willing to take players on, but Odobert just seems so much smoother and more assured when he's running with the ball. Tel always looks like he's trying too hard and/or thinking too fast.

Two footed, can go both ways with the ball, nice touch, good awareness.
Not even had 1 season in the premier league. Will only get better if he avoids serious injuries.
