Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Was really good today when he came on. Missed a complete sitter, but other than that he played really well. and he does a lot of those runs into the box that Conte likes his wingbacks to do.

He was better than Emerson but I thought his quality on the ball was really poor. You could see Spurs players looking for him early, then actively looking to pass to other people after he did nothing with the ball. Not quite sure what others saw today.

He’s definitely better on the right and he hd a good game by his standards, but he still not great. It’s quite frustrating actually; he works hard, makes some great runs and gets into good positions, but he doesn’t seem to know what to do with the ball.

Don't see what everyone else is seeing to be honest. Thought it was a normal Doherty performance. He was really poor on the ball. Missed a sitter aswell.

Credit where it's due though, his attacking positioning was really good. Worked hard and found the space in behind that contributed to the win.

Yeah he’s dreadful on the ball. But at Wolves he was always making a nuisance of himself and that player had vanished here.

Was clearly more effective than Royal, even if some of his play was a bit loose. But by his own standards set at Spurs so far, easily one of his best 45mins.

I would continue to play him for a few games to see if that gets some fight out of Royal.

A glorious bumbling chest assist when he should've headed it. He is what he is, crap. But at least he was on the right and agree, he did contribute more than Emerson.

U don’t wanna see him defending our box vs City but in the final third, he’s dangerous.

soooo much better than emerson. doherty actually looks to link up with players and follow his pass past the player for the return..thats what this system needs.

deserves to start next game after tonight.

head it? would be an easy save for the keeper unless its a seriously world class header, then chance over. he did bumble it through but at least he gets into these sort of positions and can cause havoc.

he offers something far different to emerson, might not be the prettiest but hes a presence when hes in the final third unlike emerson who does sweet fuck all.
