Manager Mauricio Pochettino

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

He has this annoying habbit of never shutting down speculation.
He gives silly non-commital answers and I think that sort of response affects the club.

Poch always let speculation affect him and the team. You can tell by our results at the times of sepculation.

I don't know if it was on here or on reddit, but someone described his actions in the summer when he was linked with a return back to us as him "flashing his panties, but never spreading his legs".

Which kinda works. I guess he likes the attention and ego stroking but doesn't want to push it too far in fear of it hurting his rep.

Serious question.....Is Mbappe actually any good?

I really don't want him to go to Man Utd. I think he will do really well there. Probably not win the league but he will make them a lot more competitive than they currently are.
The situation at PSG with the players is why I think Poch would walk to United if the door opens.
He needs to do it at the end of the season.
He needs to hit the ground running - and dictate to the players.

No team can sustain THREE dossers when they're coming up against 11 elite players managed by elite managers that demand ALL of their players work their arse off.

Whether or not Poch is 'weak' for not stamping this out or dropping them is another debate, but denial of the above is futile.
Oh my god Poch has too many world class players to win stuff
Needs to go to Utd and sell Ronaldo asap

Imagine if Poch DOES become Man Utd manager before January... He'll have managed M'Bappe, Neymar, Messi, Pogba & Ronaldo in the same season/calendar year....

Can ANY other manager lay claim to that managerial luxury? ...some people are just born lucky, I guess!

Then again, if he can't win anything with THEM, then I'll start to believe it was HIM, not us that was the problem...

...though having said that, if WE turn Conte to mush, then it surely is US not THEM that's the problem!!! 🙄

As I said, managing at PSG would be a complete melt.

Who wouldn't love to lamp Neymar one? Surprised there hasn't been a story of a manager hitting a player tbh.
Poch's half time team talk to Messi and Neymar.

"So you, you little c*** when I tell you to do something and you, you fucking big c*** - when I tell you to do something, do it. And if you come back at me, we’ll have a fucking right sort out in here.

‘And you can pair up if you like. And you can fucking pick someone else to help you, and you can bring your fucking dinner. Because, by the time I’m finished with you, you’ll fucking need it. Do you fucking hear what I’m saying or not?'"

Have been around football and been around a lot of dressing rooms, managing cliques of players and egos is hard at any level, at the level of Messi, Neymar etc. with the added pressure of their owners and a DoF like Leonardo...I'm sure it's a challenge for him even after having worked for Levy.

Le Parisien report this morning that Paris Saint-Germain have been in talks with France legend Zinédine Zidane for the past few weeks, with a view towards the former Real Madrid manager taking over from Mauricio Pochettino.

The World Cup winner, who has reportedly turned down an approach from Manchester United, had been increasingly linked to Les Parisiens with the Argentine’s future in Ligue 1 looking increasingly uncertain.

A meeting took place earlier this month at Paris’ Royal Monceau. The talks, which are said to have included directors Leonardo and Jean-Claude Blanc as well as the Ballon d’Or winner, have been denied by the club.

PSG’s intention is to have Zidane on the touchline for next season, with negotiations heading in that direction. Spanish outlet AS previously reported that the former midfielder would be reticent about joining mid-season.

With the club already rejecting an approach from Manchester United for the Argentinian manager, Mauricio Pochettino’s decision could play a role in proceedings.

The league leaders had already met with Zidane when he had left Real Madrid. At the time, he wanted to take a break from management, with a potential view towards taking over from Didier Deschamps as France manager.
