Manager Mauricio Pochettino

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Of course it does. It effects the amount of time a manager has to prepare for the next game; the opposition has had at least 3-4 more days to review videos, coach the players, find weaknesses and so on.

When at Southampton Poch use to have a practise match Mid-week, to put into practise the tactics he had been teaching them through training. This is no longer possible due to Europa League, as he has to prepare a completely different group of players for a different game, before getting back on Friday-Sat and having 1 day to prepare the squad.

There's been several times this year when we've played 11 reserves in EL and looked shit on the Weekend. It's not down to tired players, it's down to lack of preparation and a fatigued coaching team.

So what is the excuse for how terribly we've played since we left Europa. I think your point would hold some water if the end of our season had been extremely positive, but we've looked worse since Fiorentina than we did in August and September.

To be replaced by???
I dont fucking know. But chairmen don`t stay at clubs forever do they ? All I know is he invests less and less in the squad. We`re going backwards on the pitch.. Every manager he`s ever hired he`s sacked. He sells our best players. He sanctions cheap third choice replacements. He fucks around like a stupid cunt in the transfer window. And as a result we the fans get stitched up like fucking cunts with results and performances like today.
All I`m saying is instead of asking for the manager to be sacked at the end of every season of failure, we should perhaps look at the cunt who hires them in the first place.

For a former international defender, he's pretty shit at organising our defence, wheras I would of thought that would of been what he was best at.

Although, in fairness, a back 4 of Dier ,Fazio, Vertonghen and Chiriches hardly has the quality of top end Premier league club. With the exception of Vertonghen, none of them would even make the Stoke City team. This is how far we`ve fallen.

Not sure what to say, been a fan of Poch and want to give him at least another season. What does worry me is the motivation factor, against Man City we lost 1-0 but we were the better team and with our chances should have won but today we were abject. I find it wierd that we play well against top teams but struggle against smaller ones as if the players can be bothered to play against opposition that isn't top 7.

So cause my opinion is.nt the same as yours i.m a melt am I ?

Just don't understand how people could want Poch fired already. Haven't we had enough of the manager musical chairs? Poch has had one season with a SHIT squad. The only players we could rely on all season every game is Harry Kane and Hugo. Danny Rose and Bentaleb have been great lately also.

When you watch the last couple of games, you can tell this team is gassed. 55 games played this year. High press system. They just don't have the energy. Mostly because we had to dress our best players in the early stages of Europa, because our subs are that shit.

Did Poch get it all right this season? No, absolutely not but he's so hamstrung by this shit squad I don't know what some people want him to do. I mean we've basically played this entire campaign without a true RB.

As far as reliable players, we have Kane, Eriksen (most of the time) Bentaleb, Rose and Hugo. Our wing players are poor. For having like 12 CMs on the team, we only have one we can rely on and he's 20 years old.

This was always a transitional season for Poch. It gave him a chance to see who can be an asset and who he can get rid of. Things always get worse before they get better. We desperately need some players that bring leadership, especially a CM we can anchor the team.

What is the first thing Tony Pulis does to stop a side going down? He sorts out the defence, it's really not rocket science is it?

All Poch has done all season is player in, player out, player in, player out. Drop Fazio, then he's suddenly back in. Dier didn't go to the under 21's so he could work at his preferred position of centre back. Poch then shunts him out to right back where he struggles while benching the Yedlin kid. If Yedlin is no good then send him out on loan cos he won't get any better gathering dust on our bench.

A bedrock of any successful team is the defence, anyone with a bit of sense would sort out Spurs' defence first. What exactly is Lloris meant to do with that shit in front of him?

I seriously wouldn't care if Poch got sacked tomorrow, I really am not convinced by him.

However, Levy needs to back his man properly over the summer and stop messing around. We are so amateurish at times it could make you cry, its time for some common sense to be used as this has been lacking for years and years.

Never thought he was the man to take us to that next step, just hope we make 2-3 solid summer signings not knee jerk panic buys like Stambouli. Pretty sure he won't last another full season on current form but aslong as we've not bought a shed load of shit the new man can take over and hopefully push us forward.
