No it wouldn’t because this isn’t about the quality of the content it’s about the actual content itself.

I wouldn’t want to watch a film glorifying hunting for example. It could be best film ever on that subject but that wouldn’t alter my objections to the principle of that film. It’s an incredibly easy concept to grasp so I’m actually starting to think this is a wind up.

You might not want to watch it, but your opinions on what happens in it would be null and void

You should never judge a book by its cover......
:sonpoint:
We still don’t know if Ossie Wembley has even seen the cover. He might be judging the book based on rumour of its existence

And i’ll Tell Ye what, i’ve Never heard a cunt tell anyone not to judge a book by rumour of its existence...

I'm not a great fan of the lock ness monster! :angryscouser:

His 'no comment' on the Clattentwat quotes and 'refs have a hard job' has irritated me. Clattentwat has basically come out and said we are chockers, that he knew we would fail, that he let is destroy ourselves so we don't blame him........and that's all Poch has got to say??? All this in a period where we are being screwed out of decisions and that's all he has got to say?

I get he a class act that doesn't want to shift blame but his comments recently have all been a bit "oh look oh look at me, I never blame refs".

It's a perfect response. It happened TWO fucking seasons ago!! The man doesn't even referee anymore. It's utterly pointless talking about it, it serves no purpose whatsoever, it fixes nothing. Even Cuntenburg has come out backtracking like crazy today saying it's been "taken out of context". Cuntenburg has been lambasted by the media, former pro's and former referee's since making the comments, let him wallow in that shit, rather than taking away our focus and preparation on the more serious issue of picking up a win.

I feel Poch does conduct himself correctly possibly believing sour comments may cone back and bite him where it hurts. The problem is, these knob heads still let him down regardless. He might as well show fury and criticise. It might also fire up the team a little.

Move on mate. It's so far gone.

The story needs a simple ''Battenburg is a helmet'' and never speak of it again.

It's not "perfect" in the slightest. Not complaining about decisions is one thing but when a referee has the audacity to actually come out and state numerous scandalous things about the team you manage then you respond with passion and brutal truthfullness. Everything else goes out the book....you do everything in your power to defend your team and also screw over a piece of shit egotistical ref that's basically called us bottlers in public ffs.

Wow! You're mental.

I guess your right, it's just annoying . The stupid thing is , he didn't want to be remembered, he will be now.

Nah I like that you continuously hang yourself out to dry thus making you look like a total pleb in the aftermath.

Our last 2 interactions have been you crying about me making a post personal whilst stating you don't ever do that (lol) and the funniest one recently where you jumped on my post being subjective...then a minute later claiming every post on this forum is subjective. I ask you why if every post is subjective did you quote my post then (lol again). Keep them coming Dildo.

I've got right under your skin haven't I? LOL

Seethe away, seethe away.

So an annual Oct/Nov decline is to be expected each year then now?
In many ways you are right. Once we get knocked out of the cups, the last 2 seasons we have largely played the so called first 11 every week which is possible as few mid week games. However September/November sees matches every few days including International breaks where our players play a lot. That is why I argued to improve the squad in the summer. However only Sanchez has actually played off. Why if Foyth is not to play did we not keep Wimmer and why not keep Janssen. The argument is they would not play enough but with just a couple of injuries and with the high match rate they would have played a couple of games to have rested our overworked players. We need again in the summer to improve the squad but not instead of players in the squad but as well as.

Latest presser here... I must say though I'm finding these Poch pressers a bit frustrating due to the lack of any mics on the journos asking questions. This one's fairly typical, eg

Q So Mauricio, will blah bzz something blah blah blah mumble incoherently ss blah something tomorrow evening?
A Yes (smiles)

Q Can you comment on bzz something blah blah blah mumble incoherently ss blah something Mauricio?
A Yes, but you know he ees still very young, I theenk with thees type of player etc etc
:pochfacepalm:

Foyth is an interesting transfer. Certainly we were determined to sign the guy. However, at his age and relative inexperience he should be in the development squad. But I think the PR department wanted to flag up we were improving the first team squad. Which is not really the case here. Spin.

Wimmer I liked. But he seemed to be off the pace and unfit last season - and I think the lasagne story might explain why. However he was sold at a big profit and not replaced which has hurt the squad overall. And your point is valid. The squad needed more depth not swapping of players.

Jansen I do not get why anyone is upset over this guy being moved on. He was shit at premier league level. He was given chance after chance and came up short every time. The squad is no better / worse with or without him. A trier yes, but he was not even as good as. Darren Bent. His goals return in Turkey is a whopping 1 in 5 ( 2 overall ). He has ability but it’s not at our level.
