Manager Mauricio Pochettino

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I feel like I say this whenever we have one of these games, but worth repeating.

Games like this is when it shows that Pochettino is a Bielsa disciple. He has one style of play and it is supposed to work no matter the opposition, weather or other factors. It is just supposed to work. Even if we have to spend 90 minutes pushing square pegs into circular holes.

As great as he is as a manager he still has some growing to do.

Still love the guy, but he's not perfect.

Read his book and you'll see this isn't true

Fuck Pep and his hipster loafer and cardigan shit, I will take Poch's "Chechen Rebel" get up any day

Sky Sports are reporting this as “Poch refuses to rule out managing Real Madrid”.

So by not saying he wouldn’t manage them, that’s their headline. He also didn’t say he’d not manage Leyton Orient, but that’s not such a good headline.
I think what he said in full was "I am fully focused and comitted to Tottenham, but I won't rule out working at another club some time in the future because you never know what the future holds. I could be fired tomorrow for all I know" or something like that. Then he declared he wouldn't manage Barca or Woolwich.

Seems like the most diplomatic answer you can give I think but of course the media has to spin it

The full article he basically says that, like the players, you never know when your time is up and the hatchett may be dropped, in which case you look pretty silly if you've said you'll never play for/manage "xyz". Goes on to say that he is currently managing Spurs as if he'll be here the rest of his career.

Yep. You can actually read that article as him saying the only reason he'll leave is if Levy sacks him. Only the media can spin it and link him to Real.

Is no doubting that he did say that he'd rather work on a farm than manage Woolwich though. That needs to be on a t-shirt!

Part of me likes what Roberts has tweeted, because it's aimed at Judas.

The other part of me face palms because he went to play for Chelsea. I'll never doubt his playing career for Spurs but he plays to the gallery a bit too much. If I were a rival supporter I'd be taking the piss at this tweet.

Only one conclusion can be drawn. Poch to Chelsea, after all he didn't say he couldn't ever manage them. ;-)*

*That's the mindset of the scummy media in this country.
