Right, you probably know this already but I've worked out - this photo was taken at Limes, Hadley Wood/Barnet. Limes only took the place over from 'Panini's' within the past 2 years or so, so the photo is clearly 'recent' - and probably legit. The weather looks right for it to have been yesterday. Limes aren't open at the moment, or I'd phone them.

Speaking personally, I'd love to see Poch back at Spurs.

Put this on another thread but think it needs to be said here too.

Sorry to break it to anyone who is still dreaming of a Poch return but its never happening under Levy. I see the bookies have him priced up 11/2, but in my head its at least a 100/1 shot. Let me explain why.

It was an absolute penalty kick to bring back Poch in the Summer of 2023. The fans were singing his name for the last 10 games of the season. He was the obvious candidate and wanted to return. He was available and probably would have convinced Kane to stay. The stars had aligned. It was a no brainer! Yet we didn't bring him in.... Whats changed in the last 2 years for Levy to change his mind? Poch went to Chelsea and did his reputation no good there. He's also now managing another team so its more complicated/expensive to get him. There isn't a hope of Levy even considering him for an interview. If he didn't bring him in during the Summer of 2023 then he never will!

We all love to dream of happy endings but this is just a non-runner. It is never happening. Sorry to break it to anyone who genuinely thinks there is a chance!

When Poch went I thought it was the right time. He'd seen a squad through some excellent seasons and probably got a bit lucky getting to the CL final, as it was in the middle of what turned out to be a pretty awful run of form that eventually got him the sack. More than anything else, the players looked disinterested and tired after 5 years of high intensity football.

That squad is now almost entirely gone bar Son, who probably only has a year left at the top level from what we've seen. If there was a good time for him to come back then it would be now - he could work wonders with that crop of young players and Romero/VDV as his new Toby/Jan.

To the contrary, towards the end of his season at Chelsea he started to have them firing on all cylinders. Chelsea wanted magic overnight but it takes time to implement change and he started to have things clicking with the classic fast pace wing play and pressure.

Poch would do wonders with this current young, hungry, and (let’s not forget) talented squad.

This summer is the absolute perfect moment for his return.

Based on the way he has been speaking about Spurs job in recent months I could see him dropping USA for a move back to us and Levy covering any comp to the USMNT.

Ditch one of if not the worst Spurs manager in the last 20 years and hire arguably our best manager from the last 20 years. No brainer, and would save Levy’s little ass for a while. If the Poch reunion goes tits up though then you do feel Daniel has played his last card and would have to go.

Why would they meet in public and not at Levy’s house . Unless Mrs Levy has kicked him out cos she is freezing cold after he back traded on his electricity bill .

Just can’t see them meeting in public, certainly not if something was going on .

That was a bit shit after the big intro you gave it

Putting it on one thread was more than plenty
