So, so glad we hired Pochettino and not the other options. No point in being on the tail-end of the last wave when you can be on the leading edge of the next one.
If he's going to be playing as one of the 3 behind Kane, yes. He at least needs to shoot more. His last shot lead to our goal in the NLD (I can't remember if he had a shoot vs Liverpool).

With LvG we would've been playing long balls to Adebayor and a back 3 of Kaboul, Dawson and Chiriches and Eriksen as a defensive midfielder.
For once destiny has been on our side which is quite unspursy.
And with FdB we'd have been damn near relegation after he couldn't figure out why the "Ajax way" didn't work against teams playing on the counter.

I think so - however, he also brought him to Espanyol where he was a big part of their (relative) success

After Southampton I'm pretty sure he has burnt his bridges with Poch tbh.
Ferguson also bought Veron and Bebe. Not every signing can be a huge success, last season Pochettino brought in both Wanyama and Lovren(who at the time was regarded as one of the finest cb's in the league).
I have to admit that I wasn't sure about Poch when we signed him but I'm glad we got him because I can see the beginning of what he can do. The fitness was the first thing that impressed me ... the high-tempo pressing game is also coming together but the prospect of youth players coming through has me the most excited.
I just hope he establishes us in the top 4 and possibly challenging for the title before Real Madrid decide to throw money at him because he's the new coaching flavour of the month. Levy, please keep his contract at no less then 4 years:avbpray:
