Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

The likes of BBC & Sky aren't even trying to hide their anti-Spurs bias anymore.

They "routed" Bilbao while we "survived" even though while they won 7-1 on agg. we won 5-1, not exactly a giant chasm of difference is it?

We’ll never be the center of attention if Manchester United are involved and we’ll be dammed with faint praise if at all they have to say anything positive. As Ange said in that piece if we win they won’t know what to do.
For the 13 days it’ll be about the ManU’s final vs the other team from North London.
Whilst Ange will no doubt get even more heat from the press for speaking out... What he said, is what many have feared for a long time...
There IS (whilst not necessarily an ANTI SPURS) agenda, there is a tendency to rewrite the narrative to suit the idea that Spurs are somehow always gonna end up on the recieving end of negative viewpoints.

Take last night for example: pre-match, ALL you heard was that BODO were dangerous, and weren't to be underestimated at home... they were capable of overturning a 3-1 lead, it was was a precarious banana skin
... The plastic pitch, the Arctic Circle, the tight ground and unique Hostile atmosphere would all prove too much for our precious bottling babies!

....90 minutes and a sound 2-0 (5-1) victory later, and it's 'only little Bodo/Glimt... they weren't all that, ANYONE could beat them, and we ruined their special day!

Then ask Ange if he thinks the winners of the trophy deserve CL football...
But it's a pointless question, cos the media have already decided Man Utd are winning it, and we're not even gonna be the 'Leicester Farytale' if we beat them ..
Just undeserving recipients of a trophy we shouldn't even be celebrating!
The media literally switched the rules around when it suits the narrative!

Just the three articles on BBC sport today about how important this final is to United, how it can reinvigorate United's finances and bizarrely a third one about how victory in Bilbao will complete the redemption arc of Mason Mount at Man United.

United must win!

Meanwhile there's one about how Postecoglou is probably a gonner at spurs regardless of the result.........

Predictable and boring, sadly.

I wonder if Utd paid for those

Exactly…

I’m just waiting for a, “why a victory for Manchester United is a benefit to the entire English football pyramid and a Spurs victory isn’t,” article.

Written by M Ancunian.

If United win - Back to the top, still winning, next year could be amazing with the right transfers, amorim is the next Fergie after all and blah blah blah

If Spurs win - It's only the Europa league, they shouldn't qualify for the ECL, has Ange been sacked yet?, which of the players will go now they have won..

All very predictable

But my lord on high, how smug if we do. shut out all the bollocks and noise. Enjoy it! COYS

It doesn't help that some of the "Tottenham pundits" are clearly not fans of the club. Darren Bent is an Woolwich fan and Jamie Redknapp is a Liverpool fan yet both get thrown on Tottenham games and are meant to represent us. TNT are the only broadcaster who give us a fair shot with the likes of Hoddle and Les Ferdinand who clearly both love the club. Michael Dawson is the only one on sky who really likes the club but he's a weak pundit and lets the likes of Merson talk over him.

Then you have all the Woolwich and Chelsea pundits having a dig at us every chance they get.

It is all kinds of hilarious and sad that I can have the Swedish Premier League feed on, which regularly features Freddie Ljungberg (goon player extraordinaire), and he will more often than not give us more credit than the English pundits that are meant to be Spurs.

A former Woolwich player from when they were at their most dominant is better at giving us credit than dedicated Spurs pundits. And that mainly stems from him wanting the rivalry to be more spicy rather than him wanting us to have any success.

Thank goodness we will also be having Gareth Bale joining in the TNT studio for this match. Oh I so wish to see him so happy for Son and us to lift the trophy..... Please make it happen....
