Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Very shonky piece of 'journalism'.
Claims Spurs will 'hope' to bring back Vuskovic in the summer. Does this moron not realise Vuskovic is contracted to Spurs, and has to return if Spurs want him to?

We cannot leave him in Germany next season, he has to play for us. Hope Romero & VDV see this and are happy to play as a back 3. All 3 of them should have freedom to go up in attack with the holding midfielder covering as Romero & VDV frequently do.

I mean it's really not as complex as that.

Pundits think they sound savvy and above the ignorant rabble of supporters when they say a manager needs more time (which is often true tbf). That's always the default, fans are being unreasonable, give the manager time.

That effect is further enhanced in this case because Frank is associated with the Brentford "project" and Spurs are associated with a revolving door of managers.

Thus, Frank (Moneyball, stability, "system") is the cure for what ails Spurs (wasteful, chaotic).

They're not analyzing it at any level deeper than that.

I definitely think there's something to
Them wanting us kept in our place though

Like who the fuck are we to have aspirations?
Yep, they need us in the 8th to 12th range. Sky don't want us going down. We, along with the other big 5 are one of the reasons they can command huge international TV rights. We have a far bigger international following than the Chavs and City...But yet they hated it when we were on the precipice of a little dynasty under Poch. It spoilt their United, Liverpool, Woolwich love triangle.

Allnut and Marcus Moanland at Tottenham Way also completely out of step with the vast majority of the spurs crowd - online and in stadium.

Moanland spent all last year eyeoring the fuck out of that pod then jumped on the EL glory like a completely shameless cunt. Now he's all "I feel so sowwy for Frank" which would be fine if he wasn't such a shameless hypocrite and refuses to acknowledge it. :D

IF he really wants to go back to Germany for 1 more year to play with his brother, and we don't intend to sell Romero or VdV this summer, then he needs to agree to extend his contract. No way should we let him have his way if he refuses to extend imo.

That's the happy medium for everyone. He gets a year more experience in a decent league, fulfils the fairy tale of playing with his brother and makes more money in the process.

We get him tied down for another 2-3 years, have long term leverage over his future, then can integrate him when he's 20 years old and replaces one of Romero/VdV in the first team.

The alternative is, if he's good enough in pre-season, we just integrate him ASAP and then maybe he's happy to re-sign anyway if he's getting gametime at a big club in the PL?

I can't believe what's just happened.

I don't know if anyone else saw it, but on Sky Sports news at 10am, just before the announcement that Frank was sacked, the presenter asked the pundit, that idiot Jay Boothroyd whether Tottenham are in a relegation fight? His response was "I hope so".

I went fucking ballistic at the absolute biased anti Spurs agenda, especially coming from the cretin who barely made a mark at that lot up the road.

I was so fuming that I phoned Sky to complain. After finally getting through to someone who could take down the details and after I was put on hold for what seemed like a lifetime, the guy from Sky came back on and apologised on behalf of Sky TV about the situation involving one of their presenters and then to my amazement, they have given me 2 years of the full Sky Sports package for free as a good will gesture.

It goes to show. Maybe more people should complain.

Seriously, 2 years of Sky Sports for free. That’s not a bad result.

:pochsmirk:

Get on the phones they’re discussing budgets this week 😉
