Just adds so much calm knowing he's never going to get done in a sprint. After years of Dier rolling out the red carpet for strikers it's a welcome change.

Great passing and accelerates to get out of danger when needed. And he's a unit.

How fucking good must Tapsoba be if the consensus was that he was the better option of the two? More shite from the TFC scouting network?

This is what always baffled me about Tap.... Despite the hunger and hype for him to join; no-one here seemed prepared to vouch for him being somewhat the finished article that could hit the ground running.........

Yet VVD was the one with the cautionary enthusiasm and being described as a 'project player'.

Chuffed to bits with him.

It also depends on the manager. With Ange the instructions are pretty clear. He makes it simple for the players and lets their talent do the rest.
I don't think we can really say why some players settle quickly while others don't.

Remember that both Kulu and Bentancur had instant impact under the dinosaur.

Only player I've ever seen be completely impervious to formation, or style is Kane.

Yeah agree. Just happy to see it in action.

There will for sure be some downs on this roller coaster I just want the fans to stay committed to brining rhe team up even when we are in a low point

I think system and management makes all the difference.

Conte first few months I feel like he allowed us to play with a bit more freedom and it made it easier for new players.

Once he had the time to start drilling his system into the team we completely lost our spark.
