This is what always baffled me about Tap.... Despite the hunger and hype for him to join; no-one here seemed prepared to vouch for him being somewhat the finished article that could hit the ground running.........

It also depends on the manager. With Ange the instructions are pretty clear. He makes it simple for the players and lets their talent do the rest.

Remember that both Kulu and Bentancur had instant impact under the dinosaur.

I think system and management makes all the difference.
Conte first few months I feel like he allowed us to play with a bit more freedom and it made it easier for new players.
Once he had the time to start drilling his system into the team we completely lost our spark.
