People often rave about van de Ven's pace (and rightly so - as more and more players realize they can't outrun him) but he's also an excellent reader of the game (and still only 22)...and his heading ability is improving as well he's turning into a monster of a complete CB. He and Romero are the "perfect" CB pairing.
