Here we go with posters laughing or deriding my post

Mourinho and Ferguson would have dropped Van Der Ven after his show of contempt and slated him for indirectly giving away the ball that led to the 3rd goal last weekend.

We are so bereft that we can't see that example needs to be set and maintained.

Frank will pick Van Der Ven today. I wouldn't.

Vicario, Spence, Porro and Bentancur need dropping before examples are made of others. Issue is, a lack of competition and depth impact that.

I'm literally the perfect boyfriend, there's someone out there for me The Extra Mile(sey) The Extra Mile(sey) 😍

He's probably our best player but I just can't bring myself to care tbh

I was terrified of Kane, Alderweireld ,Son , Bale , Berbatov etc leaving but I just don't care about any of our players at this point

Wouldn't blink an eyelid if any of them left and would probably throw a party for some of them leaving
Sadly I have to agree with this. I've become numb to players wanting to leave, even the ones I like.
If they don't want to play for us, they can do one, as far as I'm concerned.
Makes Sonny's loyalty even more special.

thank fuck you dont manage Spurs

Can you tie your own laces yet?

good man
Slating VDV for defensive errors - when his midfield screen is the footballing equivalent of a teabag is way over the top. Look at the main body of his work and effort and then contrast it with the almost insignificant number of errors he makes - which IIRC are usually when he's given hospital passes or had to try and mark multiple attackers.
When he was out he was missed massively, the guys a cheat code.

All noted.

He is an issue for Frank, who he neither rates or respects.

I think Van Der Ven is nowhere as good as he thinks.

I also believe he is too arrogant.

Whether he is a problem may be debatable but I prefer players who keep their mouths shut, and when you are part of a defence that is as leaky as ours, he should focus his energy to where it's most needed.

A stronger manager or one not in as precarious a state as Frank might drop him after talking to Neville, and saying what he did.
He did come across as a touch cocky, but I think some of that is the typical straight and direct talking Dutch trait.

Correct,I know quite a few Dutch lads and they have a confidence and arrogance about them but I also find them very genuine. Micky speaks well and backs up that confidence in how he plays. He’s a top player and anyone who supports Tottenham that doesn’t think that is blind. Out of our games this season he’s been by far our best and most consistent player. I said in the summer and last season he should be our captain. He’s more vocal than any of our players on the pitch but also steps up and performs. Class act.
