I've always thought VDV would make an excellent defensive midfielder. Like a Lothar Mathauss. Someone who can defend quite a bit but still drive us forward. Shame really as I don't imagine he would like playing that position in the championship. Its only his injury status which would perhaps let him down.

He's not agile enough to play there. He's good at bursting forward when he has space to. He's not a very good passer of the ball either. He'd get eaten alive there.

When he turned away with Spence from Frank it said a lot. He will probably grow up eventually, unfortunately it will be at some other club where he has to work for his place on the pitch and not at Spurs.

He's right about one thing.
The arrogance of the guy! Hope we get rid asap.

So Mickey is saying his only option was to haul the Palace player down because none of the other Spurs defenders were doing their jobs properly?

Yes. And then he said Igor Tudor is part of a cannibalistic cabal of alien shapeshifters who are secretly taking over the world via subliminal messages hidden in Taylor Swift lyrics.

Trust me bro

Maybe, but he has been awful for us for months now.

Sure but Everyone but Archie Gray has been awful for us for months now.

Focusing on individual players is exactly why the real wasters keep getting away with it.

Like it or not we need Mickey and all of them to pull together with us or we're down. Internet slop making rage bait just leads to more disunity.

Summer is the time for dealing with players

This was the sliding doors moment. The amount of people that brushed that off and gave off to anyone who thought it was a bad look was funny. I got told I was a pussy or some such saying he should be punished, but if I did that to my manager, I'd get sacked.

He's not half the player he thinks he is, and if he gets injured enough that he loses his pace, he'll fade into obscurity, because an actual defender, he's grand. I'm looking forward to seeing the back of him. Seen an article, probably a load of shit, that's Barca have been put off by his performances this season. Doesn't seem outlandish, and if he doesn't have the options he think he'll have, that would also be hilarious.

Oh, Micky, what a pity
You don't understand
You takeaway your pace, you'd be sitting in the stand
Oh, Micky, off to City
You're really underhand
It's guys like you, Micky
Oh, what you do Micky, do Micky
Don't pull a hammy, Micky

I think this is really harsh on Mickey who I think is being unfairly maligned because he was overrated and can't live up to those ideals...

But it's also fucking piss funny bravo 👏 :D
